We are looking for qualified translators to work on a localization project for a 40-episode scripted series. The project involves translating scripts from English and Nepali into Bantawa Rai, Eastern Tamang, and Western Tamang while maintaining cultural accuracy and linguistic consistency.

Key Responsibilities:

Translate scripts from English and Nepali into the target language
Maintain accuracy and cultural appropriateness in translations
Work in batches of 4 episodes at a time
Review and address comments from reviewers before scripts are finalized
Maintain consistency in terminology and style across episodes

Required Education Level:School (SLC/ SEE)

Required Experience:More than 1 year

Other Specification

Role Specifications:

Native or fluent speaker of Bantawa Rai, Eastern Tamang, or Western Tamang.
Good proficiency in English.
Strong translation and writing skills.
Minimum 1 years of translation experience preferred.
Access to a reliable computer and stable internet connection.

Project Details:

Average episode length: ~5,000 words
Expected translation speed: ~1,000 words per day
Episodes delivered in batches of 4
Each batch is completed in approximately 20 working days

Compensation: This is a well-paying contract in which translators will be paid per season of episodes translated and finalized.

Selection Process: Shortlisted candidates may be required to complete a short in-person translation test before final selection.
