Purpose: Provide technical assistance to the respective Infrastructure Development Offices(IDOs)/ Transport Infrastructure Directorate (TID) and Palikas

Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering with one year experience in trail bridges or completed one year of traineeship on “Trail and Motorable Bridges”.

Duration: 3 years (subject to project approval)

Duty station: Provincial Offices of Trail Bridge Support Unit (TBSU) with frequent travel to the field (at least 70% of time in the field)

Major Roles and Responsibilities:

• Support Provincial partner by co-working to provide technical assistance to the respective IDOs/TID and Palikas, ensuring that they construct bridges as per national norms and standard and in the spirit of National Policy
• Monitor the performance of other partner providing support to IDOs/TID/Palikas and guide them when deemed required
• Planning, budgeting, survey, design, estimate, monitoring and supervision of bridge construction ensuring social and environmental aspects, quality control and quality assurance of Trail bridges
