Job duties include

Prepare or assist in preparing simple to complex tax returns for individuals and entities.
Be able to deal with multiple clients at once.
Client outreach for documents
Enter data, maintain records and create reports and financial statements
Documentation of financial transactions by entering account information into the accounting software system on regular basis
Complete assigned tax returns in timely manner

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

1+ years of relevant experience
Solid understanding of basic tax and accounting
Accounting software experience
Ability to calculate, post, and manage tax figures and financial records
Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and accounting or tax software
Proficiency in English and MS Excel
Customer service orientation and negotiation skills
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
Bachelor's degree with Accounting/tax major or related field.

Preferred

CPA, EA, or Chartered Accountant
Proconnect software knowledge
Experience with preparing US personal and business (LLC, S-Corp) tax returns and/or real estate taxes
