Job Description

Roles and responsibilities of this job

Work with a team of System Administrators to monitor the existing system infrastructure, backbone network, application delivery network, applications, and services.
Perform installation, configuration, and maintenance of Linux/Windows Servers and applications in a virtualization-based infrastructure.
Proactively manage and install network routers, switches, servers, and firewall systems.
Administration of windows server and maintaining Active Directory, DNS, NPS, File and Storage, DHCP.
Participate in designing a network, system infrastructure, and Data Center management.
Maintain proper backup and recovery of the system.
Upgrade systems with new releases and patches
Coordinate with vendors and service providers for connectivity, support, and infra related incidents in the production environment

Job Requirements

Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science (IT)/ Computer Engineering or equivalent.
Good knowledge of the Linux/Windows server environment.
Good knowledge in networking, routing and switching.
Hands-on experience on Router, Switches, Network firewalls, VPN(IPsec, SSL), Load Balancers, Nginx, WAP, WAF)
Knowledge of virtualization and storage(VMware, XEN)
Knowledge of cloud computing(AWS, GCP) services and technologies
Knowledge of Docker, Ansible, Terraform and similar DevOps tools shall be an added advantage.
Basic knowledge of web vulnerabilities and security.
Basic knowledge of VOIP technologies.(Asterisk, Elastix, GSM gateways, IP-Phones)
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Additional certification (CCNA/RHCE/MCSE/AWS) will be an added advantage.
Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong ability to source information from users, vendors, and colleagues and deliver it to the required audience
