Job Description:

Gyan Career Institute is looking for an experienced and knowledgeable Study Abroad Counselor – Australia to guide and support students in pursuing higher education in Australia. The ideal candidate should have in-depth expertise in Australian education guidelines, student visa application processes from Nepal, universities, courses, and overall Australian lifestyle.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide expert guidance on studying in Australia, including Diploma, Bachelor's, and Master's programs.
Assist students throughout the entire student visa application process, ensuring compliance with Australian immigration policies.
Offer accurate and updated information on Australian universities, colleges, courses, tuition fees, scholarships, and entry requirements.
Counsel students on choosing the right course and university based on their academic background, career goals, and financial capacity.
Stay updated on Australia’s education system, visa policies, and lifestyle to provide reliable information.
Support students in preparing financial documents, Statement of Purpose (SOP), and other necessary paperwork for visa applications.
Guide students on accommodation, part-time job opportunities, and adjusting to life in Australia.
Maintain relationships with Australian universities and educational institutions.
Organize seminars, workshops, and one-on-one counseling sessions to promote study opportunities in Australia.
Work closely with internal teams to process applications smoothly and efficiently.

Requirements:

Minimum 4 years of experience in counseling students for studying in Australia.
Strong knowledge of Australian education policies, student visa regulations, and application processes from Nepal.
Familiarity with major Australian universities, courses, and scholarship opportunities.
Excellent communication and counseling skills.
Ability to assess student eligibility and provide personalized guidance.
Proficiency in English and Nepali (both spoken and written).
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Previous experience in an education consultancy or international student placement agency is must.
