Job Description

Roles and responsibilities of this job

Ensure smooth and efficient functioning of the daily engineering services of the company
Determine project schedule by studying project plan and specifications, calculating time requirements, and sequencing project elements
Monitor project progression, resolve any issues that arise and coordinate team activities to maintain approved schedule
Control project pace and suggest schedule changes as needed
Controls project plan by reviewing design, specifications, and plan, scheduling changes, and recommending actions
Prepare project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends; recommending actions
Support the engineering team in executing projects in a timely manner
Plan and execute the preparation of structural calculation and documents
Provide site supervision support and develop bill of quantities
Assist and support structural engineer-manager and senior structural engineers in executing projects effectively
Prepare reports and assist in the establishment and management of project schedules
Support drafting/design team to produce quality drawings and designs
Create and maintain client relationships
Maintains safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations
Deliver capacity building sessions to subordinates and others

Other Specification

Must have completed M. Sc. in Structural/ Earthquake Engineering
Minimum 3 years worked experience in structural design for building complex/ steel structure, design for strengthening and retrofit of building
Fluency in structural analysis software (SAP, ETABS etc.), AutoCAD, MS Office etc.
Technical monitoring of the quality of service
Must possess strong communication and listening skills, excellent speaking, reading, and writing
Comprehend and use technical or professional language, either written or spoken, to communicate complex ideas
Multiple language abilities a plus, fluency in English required
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Familiar with national and international codes ( NBC, IS, Euro, ACI, ASCE etc.)
