Roles and responsibilities of this job

The Staff Nurse at NCHRC serves as an integral member of the healthcare team, providing high-quality and compassionate nursing care to patients and their families. This individual must be registered with the Nepal Nursing Council (PCL/BSc/BN) and have a strong clinical background with experience in a hospital or clinical setting.

Responsibilities:

Monitor patient status and vital signs, administer medication, and assist in treatments and procedures as prescribed by physicians.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring confidentiality of sensitive information.
Educate patients on their medical conditions, treatment plans, and post-discharge care instructions.
Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families during difficult times.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment, following all healthcare and safety protocols.
Attend and actively participate in team meetings and training, staying updated on hospital policies and procedures.
Adhere to nursing ethical, legal, and professional standards, promoting a positive work culture.

Other Specification

Registered with the Nepal Nursing Council (PCL/BSc/BN).
Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Staff Nurse in a hospital or clinical setting.
Strong clinical knowledge and experience in various treatments and procedures.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Compassionate, empathetic, and patient-centered approach towards care giving.
Ability to work under pressure, handle multiple tasks, and prioritize patient needs.
Willingness to work in shifts and on weekends on a rotating basis.
Proficient in computer skills and electronic health record systems.
