Job Description

Roles and responsibilities of this job

Codeware Lab is searching for full-time Backend Developers with hands-on experience with the following technology stacks to work on its client projects in the USA, Germany, and Kenya.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with product owners, on-site managers, designers, and QA engineers
Gather in-depth specifications from business users and developers to determine the specific output
Design, create, and maintain efficient, reusable, and trustworthy code in backend technologies ( Java/ C#)
Identify performance issues and bugs and provide resolutions.
Work with different departments to develop integrated and unique solutions
Attend client meetings and participate in daily scrum meetings
Report progress to the project's assigned reporting managers

Essential Skills

Strong knowledge of software development life cycle and implementation
Experience with Microservices
Proficient in English communication (reading, writing, and speaking)
A sense of ownership with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
In-depth understanding of OOP design concepts and software development processes and methods
Ability to translate business requirements into technical requirements, create architecture and design documents for stakeholders
Quick learner, capable of adapting to new technologies based on project needs

Desirable Skills

Knowledge of containers, orchestration technologies, Git, and Continuous Integration (CI)/Continuous Delivery (CD) pipelines
Cloud-based technologies ( AWS/ Azure)
