Job Description

  • Track project progress; identity, report, and resolve issues and risks to launch initiatives on time and smoothly
  •  Drive collaboration and positive relationships between functions within Daraz to meet common business goals
  • Identify skill gaps, work on skill and capabilities development plans, and execute such plans to enhance team members' knowledge, skill, and abilities across the departments
  • Actively coordinate with our international team to devise impactful projects, exchange learnings, and execute
  • Assesses training and development needs through surveys, interviews, focus groups, and communication with managers, instructors, and customer representatives
  •  Creates, organizes, plans, and presents various forms of onboarding, orientation, and skills training for employees and customers
  •  Develops unique training programs to fulfill workers’ specific needs to maintain or improve job skills
  •  Creates and/or acquires training procedure manuals, guides, and course materials
  •  Presents training and development programs using various forms and formats including group discussion, lecture, simulations, and videos
  •  Maintains records of training and development activities, attendance, results of tests and assessments, and retraining requirements
  •  Assesses training materials prepared by instructors
  •  Evaluates program effectiveness through assessments, surveys, and feedback
  •  Maintains knowledge of the latest trends in training and development
  •  Prepares and implements training budget; maintains records and reports of expenses.

Qualification (Education/Experience)

  • Minimum Bachelors’ Degree with minimum 2 years’ experience in learning and development and preferably in operations/logistics/supply chain/e-commerce/project management 
  • Proactive and able to work both independently and within a team
  • Proven negotiation skills, influencing abilities, and strong numerical and analytical ability
  • Ability to anticipate and identify problems and use sound judgment and fact-based analysis to develop effective and efficient solutions 
  • Demonstrated ability to excel in fast-paced, changing, and ambiguous environments and work under high pressure • Working knowledge in Excel and MS Office package • Ability to mentor, coach, and act as a knowledge resource to other employees
  • Good organizational skills including prioritizing, scheduling, time management, and meeting deadlines
