Java Developer responsibilities to develop the software using agile methodologies.

Technical Skills

Java, JSP, Struts, Web development, Apache Tomcat, AWS technologies, Restful Web Services, Spring, Spring Batch, Spring boot, Hibernate, Maven, GIT, JUnit, and Logging APIs like Apache Log4J, Java 8+ features,
Responsibilities:
Identify and analyze user requirements
Prioritize, assign and execute tasks throughout the software development life cycle
Develop Java EE applications
Write well-designed, efficient code
Review, test and debug team members’ code
Design application and database architecture
Schedule product releases with internal teams
Document development phases
Ensure our applications are secure and up-to-date

Qualifications

Skills and Expertise:

Education Level: Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university
Experience Required: 2 -3 years of professional experience
Experience designing, building, and testing Java EE applications
Experience with Object-Oriented Design (OOD)
In-depth knowledge of popular Java frameworks like JSF and Spring MVC
Experience working in multithreaded application.
Experience or knowledge of Search Engines like Solr, Lucene and Elastic Search
Experience in microservices architecture and RESTful API development
Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases (preferably MongoDB, MSSQL and/or Postgres),
Knowledge of queuing and messaging technologies like RabbitMQ, SNS and SQS
Basic Working Knowledge on JavaScript /Javascript frameworks, Web Markup Languages (HTML/HTML5, XML) and Style Sheet Language (CSS/CSS3)
Experience working with Maven, Jenkins, Bamboo, Octopus or any CI/CD tool and deep understanding of continuous integration/continuous delivery. Willing and able to work with DevOps team and contribute to CI/CD
Knowledge of AWS services like EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, Aurora PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, Elasticsearch is a strong plus point
Good delegation and time management skills
Problem-solving abilities
