Job Description

The main purpose of the job is to study and evaluate the business requirement to formulate use cases and test cases and assure that the requirements are fulfilled. The position also tests and analyzes the cases, if the defect is detected then implement defect tracking and regression testing. Logging, reporting, and documentation also play a vital role.

Key Responsibilities

1. Study, evaluate and design

Study and evaluate the business requirement to formulate use cases and test cases.
Design the wireframes and prototypes of software development

2. Develop, test, and analyze

Create test cases
Evaluate defect logs
Develop test-related documents
Implement defect tracking and regression testing
Execute the functional/logical, load, automated, and user interface test of the software product

3. Logging and reporting

Report and log the analyzed defects.

4. Management and Testing

Conduct defect management and regression testing

5. Create and assist in preparing documents

Assist in preparing software documents like:
Use Case
User Manual
Business Requirement Document
Training Materials
Instruction Document
System Design Document
Prepare test reports and other test-related documents

6. Providing training

Provide training and sessions to interns and Associate QA Engineers regarding software testing and project/product functions and features
Provide training and sessions to interns and Associate QA Engineers regarding the creation of technical documents for the application.
