Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual for the role of Social Mobilization Specialist to join our team in the Construction/Real Estate industry. The ideal candidate must have previous professional external experience, especially in dealing with various departments of Nepal government. The candidate must also be fluent in both English and Nepali, with no major limitations.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective social mobilization strategies for construction projects in coordination with the on-site construction team
  • Conduct community outreach activities such as meetings, workshops, and awareness campaigns to promote project objectives
  • Liaise with government departments and local authorities to obtain necessary approvals and permits
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders including community leaders, NGOs, and government officials
  • Conduct social impact assessments and monitor community grievances
  • Ensure compliance with social safeguards and policies set by the organization and government
  • Prepare reports, case studies, and presentations on social mobilization activities and progress
  • Train and supervise social mobilization team members
  • Engage in regular communication and coordination with all stakeholders to address any issues and concerns
