Position: WordPress Developer

Location: Anamnagar, Kathmandu, Nepal

Position Type: Full-Time

Number: 1

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze project requirements and objectives.

Design and develop responsive and dynamic WordPress websites, and themes, based on client needs and specifications.

Customize and extend existing WordPress themes to enhance website functionality and user experience.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to WordPress websites, including compatibility, performance, and security concerns.

Optimize websites for speed, performance, and search engine optimization (SEO) to ensure optimal user experience and discoverability.

Conduct regular updates and maintenance tasks for WordPress sites, including backups, security patches, and version upgrades.

Implement and enforce best practices for WordPress development, ensuring code quality, scalability, and maintainability.

Stay informed about the latest trends, developments, and best practices in WordPress and web development.

Collaborate with designers, content creators, and other developers to ensure seamless integration of content and functionality.

Provide technical support and guidance to clients and team members regarding WordPress-related queries and issues.

Qualifications and Skills

Minimum of 2 years of experience in WordPress Development or a similar role.

Detailed knowledge of HTML, CSS, PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, JQuery, and other related web technologies.

Experience with custom WordPress themes, plugins, and configurations.

Experience with responsive web design principles.

Experience with Figma and other design tools is a plus.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Design, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
