Roles and responsibilities of this job
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Pre-School Grade Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing, engaging, and safe learning environment that supports the holistic development of young learners. This role requires strong leadership, creativity, and a deep understanding of early childhood development principles.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and implement developmentally appropriate, activity-based learning programs.
Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
Monitor and assess children’s progress, maintaining accurate records and reports.
Guide and support assistant teachers and collaborate with the teaching team.
Ensure child safety, hygiene, and safeguarding practices are strictly followed.
Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and well-being.
Organize and participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and training sessions.
Use basic digital tools (MS Office, school apps) for reporting and communication.
Apply knowledge of child psychology to support emotional, social, and cognitive development.

Required qualifications for this job
Other Specification
Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in a reputed institution within the valley.
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Early Childhood Development, or a related field.
Fluency in English and Nepali (spoken and written).
ECC or Montessori training preferred (with commitment to a minimum one-year contract).
Strong understanding of early childhood development and child psychology.
Excellent classroom management skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic computer proficiency (MS Office and digital communication tools).
