About the job

Overview

We are looking for a skilled Manufacturing Supervisor to manage our assembly line and ensure optimal performance in our optical fiber and cable manufacturing facility. A bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering and one to two years of experience in cable manufacture or a related field are prerequisites for the ideal applicant.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and ensure the smooth operation of the assembly line, coordinating with machine operators and other team members to meet production targets.
Maintain strict adherence to quality standards set by the company, ensuring that all products meet specifications and quality requirements.
Monitor and manage the flow of raw materials for production, coordinating with supply chain and procurement teams to ensure availability and timely delivery.
Prepare daily reports on production activities, including output levels, material usage, and any issues encountered, providing regular updates to management.
Manage and lead the workforce on the production floor, providing guidance, training, and support as needed to maintain a productive and cohesive team.
Address any mechanical or electrical problems that may arise during production, troubleshooting issues and implementing solutions to minimize disruptions.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
Minimum 2 years of experience in cable manufacture or a related field
Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office suite for generating reports, analyzing data, and communication.
Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards throughout the manufacturing process.
Proficiency in AutoCAD (Basic) for understanding and interpreting technical drawings and schematics.
Excellent organizational and leadership abilities, with the capability to effectively manage a diverse team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Problem-solving skills and the ability to quickly identify and address technical issues to maintain uninterrupted production.

Office time: 9:30 to 5:30
