Job Overview

The education counselor should have knowledge of the international education system and also previous experience in similar work roles who will be responsible for all the necessary student recruitment processes and visa processing abroad. The counselor is responsible to meet the major objective of our company which is to impart our quality and customer-oriented service since s/he is the one who directly interacts with our prospective clients. The incumbent does this at the individual level through counseling, meetings, and maintaining individual student contact, but also has significant oversight responsibilities in terms of understanding the annual financial targets of the company, developing team spirit, and maximizing business volume while maintaining the business ethics and professionalism.

The individual in this position will:

Advice / Counsel students regarding various universities, courses, admission requirements, entrance exams, scholarship abroad for students
Assist with activities to promote overseas educational institutions represented by the company and/or provide the most suitable study options to students based on their profile, needs & aspirations
Guiding students with applications and forwarding student applications to universities
Provide telephonic counseling to the leads of all resources & invite them to walk into the office for counseling
Meet foreign university delegates
Representing company during fairs and events
Liaising with Universities and University officers
Providing counseling face to face, over the telephone, or online
Working with individuals, families, or groups
Keeping confidential records
Building a relationship of trust and respect with clients
Listening to clients' concerns, empathizing with them, and helping them to see things more clearly or in a different way

Counselor education and training requirements (This is not mandatory)

Complete a bachelor's degree in a behavioral, social science, or education field
Earn a master's degree in school counseling
Pass any required exams for certification/licensure

Preferences and requirements:

6-10 years of Counselor, with at least 2 years of experience as a senior counselor
Network with educators especially in school and college-level education
Entrepreneurial Mindset
Education: no specific degree required. However, all intended degrees should be completed and candidates should be focused on their careers.

Benefits

Salary: Nrs 55,000 - Nrs 75,000 per month based on experience
Travel and communication Allowances
Bonus: Individual Sales, Team sales (Upto Additional 10 Lakhs per Annum)
