Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Counselor to join Beyond Borders Educational Network. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing expert educational counseling, guiding students through study-abroad opportunities, and supporting them throughout the application and admission process.

Key Responsibilities

Provide professional counseling to students regarding overseas education opportunities.
Understand students' academic backgrounds, career goals, and preferences to recommend suitable courses and institutions.
Guide students through the university selection, application, admission, and visa process.
Communicate with students, parents, universities, and other relevant stakeholders.
Follow up with prospective students and maintain regular communication.
Assist in preparing and reviewing application documents.
Maintain accurate student records and update counseling and application status.
Achieve assigned counseling and enrollment targets.
Stay updated on international education trends, universities, courses, and admission requirements.
Support junior counselors and contribute to team performance.
Handle student queries and concerns professionally.
Prepare regular reports and updates for management.

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 3 years

Other Specification

Bachelor's degree in any relevant field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in educational counseling or study-abroad counseling.
Strong knowledge of overseas education and admission processes.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong counseling, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
Good organizational and follow-up skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and general computer applications.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Target-oriented, proactive, and professional approach.
