Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Counsellor to join our team at Ideal Study Abroad Service. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of immigration and education consultancy, with a proven ability to guide clients through the study abroad process and deliver exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide expert guidance to students and clients on study abroad opportunities, including program selection, application processes, and visa procedures.
Have thorough experience in counselling prospective students for USA, UK and other English speaking countries.
Stay updated on immigration policies, university admission criteria, and education systems of popular destinations.
Develop tailored counselling plans based on client needs and qualifications.
Build and maintain relationships with educational institutions and other stakeholders.
Supervise junior counsellors and ensure a high standard of client service delivery.
Assist in marketing and promotional activities related to study abroad programs.

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than or equal to 5 years

Other Specification

Bachelor's degree in a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
At least 5 years of experience in immigration and education consultancy or a related field
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
Strong knowledge of visa processes and admission requirements of major study destinations.
Ability to handle client queries professionally and maintain confidentiality.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in MS Office and relevant tools.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
