Roles and responsibilities of this job

This position performs the reconciliation, preparation of reports as per company’s policies and procedures. This position works with all levels of management and employees within the company.

Reports To: Manager, Finance

Main Responsibilities:

Responsible for performing reconciliation of items of financial statements as per company’s policies and procedures.
Responsible for assisting the supervisor for maintaining overall accounting functions Internal control.
Assisting in preparation of management reports as per requirement.
Update internal systems with financial data.
Complete special assignments/Project as directed by the supervisor, HOD, management as directed.
Participate and support audits.
Ensuring compliance of regulatory & other applicable laws, polices & requirements.

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than or equal to 2 years

Other Specification

Knowledge on life insurance business will be preferred.
Should possess excellent verbal & written communication skill in Nepali/English, along with listening skill and learning aptitude.
Proficient in Microsoft Office package.
Must have sound knowledge of accounting principles/functions.
Ability to work accurately under pressure .
Must be capable of handling assignments independently and should be quick learner.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance/accounts or equivalent (Senior Assistant) and Master’s in Finance/Accounts or equivalent (Junior Officer)

Experience Required: More than or equal to 1/2 years for Jr. Officer/Sr. Assistant.
