Job Description

Roles and responsibilities of this job

Reviewing and Designing structural and engineering plans
Ensuring all plans is compliant with governmental engineering, safety, health & Environmental regulations.
Preparing and maintaining all the structural quantity and cost estimate of the project for further execution process
Researching & maintaining knowledge of various engineering disciplines, application methods, materials & specification.
Monitoring the work of other engineers & architects and making recommendations or scheduling workshops as required.
Providing guidance to subcontractors like builders, plumbers, masons, and electricians, and helping them interpret design specifications.
Liaising with clients to ensure all issues are addressed in a timely manner, and those project requirements are bench marked.
Ensuring the team works together to achieve set goals and targets.
Acting as a mentor to new structural engineer/general civil engineer and helping them fine-tune their design skills and improve their industry knowledge.
Networking and consulting with various industry professionals
