About the job

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead AI Engineer to spearhead our AI initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in large language models (LLMs), instruction ﬁne-tuning, data preparation, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG). Familiarity with advanced AI technologies like AWS Bedrock and Mistral AI is essential. As a Lead AI Engineer, you will be responsible for driving the development and implementation of cutting-edge AI solutions, mentoring team members, and ensuring the alignment of AI projects with our business goals.

Responsibilities:

Lead the development and deployment of large language models (LLMs) to address various business needs.
Design and implement instruction ﬁne-tuning techniques to optimize model performance and relevance.
Oversee data preparation processes, ensuring high-quality and relevant datasets for training AI models.
Develop and implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) techniques to enhance model outputs and accuracy.
Integrate and leverage advanced AI technologies such as AWS Bedrock and Mistral AI to enhance our AI solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify AI opportunities and develop solutions that drive business value.
Mentor and guide junior AI engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
Stay current with the latest advancements in AI, machine learning, and natural language processing, and integrate best practices into our projects.
Develop and maintain documentation for AI models, processes, and workﬂows.
Ensure the scalability, reliability, and security of AI solutions.
Provide technical leadership and strategic direction for AI initiatives, aligning them with company objectives and industry standards.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Artiﬁcial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related ﬁeld. A Master's or Ph.D. is preferred.
Proven experience of at least 3 years in a leadership role.
