Job Description

Roles and responsibilities of this job

Checking all accounting aspects, entering into accounting system & filing monthly VAT.
Prepare and analyze financial information to prepare financial statements including monthly and annual accounts, Journal, Vouchers, ledgers etc.
Reconciliation of all required accounts.
Handling legal issues related to accounting & preparing annual files of all the necessary documents to assist external auditors in compiling audits.
Updating /renewing all documents/certification as per requirement of the company.
Undertake other administrative and financial tasks as required.
Corresponding with banks, follow up with other departments, external agencies and Tax Offices, Preparing memos, letters and other correspondences as per requirement
Monitoring and guiding assistant accountant in all office related activities.

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Graduate (Masters)

Required Experience:More than or equal to 6 years

Other Specification

At least Master's degree with specialization in Accounts, Finance or in any related field
At least five years of experience in the field of accounting and/or finance with at least 4 years' additional experience in senior accountant positions
Good knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
Good knowledge of accounting such as journal, ledger, reconciliation, keeping voucher and financial statements
Good knowledge of finance such as cash flow, capital budgeting, ratio analysis etc.
Good knowledge of VAT, tax, TDS, production management and government policies
Sound knowledge on banking procedures and insurance
Knowledge on ERP system
