Roles and responsibilities of this job

The Gurukulam School invites applications from qualified, dedicated, and experienced Secondary Teachers to teach English, Science, Mathematics, Computer, and Social Studies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering subject-specific instruction, promoting critical thinking, and supporting students’ academic growth at the secondary level.

Key Responsibilities

Teach secondary-level classes in the assigned subject(s)
Plan and deliver well-structured, engaging, and curriculum-aligned lessons
Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessments
Evaluate student performance through tests, assignments, and projects
Maintain classroom discipline and a positive learning environment
Encourage analytical thinking, creativity, and independent learning
Maintain academic records, examination results, and student reports
Participate in school meetings, academic planning, and professional development programs
Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress when required
Support school activities, events, and co-curricular programs

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in the relevant subject
Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience at the secondary level preferred
Strong subject knowledge and pedagogical skills
