Roles and responsibilities of this job

As a Secondary Level Science Teacher at Balmiki International School, you will be responsible for providing high-quality science education to students in the secondary levels. The ideal candidate should possess a Master's degree in a relevant field, along with at least 3 years of teaching experience. You will play a crucial role in fostering scientific inquiry, critical thinking, and a passion for the sciences among students.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement a comprehensive and engaging science curriculum for secondary levels.
Develop well-structured lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards.
Manage and oversee laboratory activities, ensuring safety protocols are adhered to.
Develop and administer assessments to evaluate students' understanding of scientific principles.
Establish and maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Collaborate with fellow science teachers and staff to integrate cross-curricular activities.
Stay informed about the latest developments in science education and incorporate innovative teaching methodologies.

Qualifications:

Master's degree in Science or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of relevant teaching experience at the secondary level.
Strong subject knowledge and passion for science education.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in managing laboratory activities.
Creative and innovative approach to teaching science concepts.
Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students.
