Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated, and skilled Secondary Level Maths Teacher to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering mathematics lessons to secondary-level students, fostering a positive learning environment, and supporting students in developing critical thinking and problem-solving skills while adhering to the school’s holistic educational approach.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging mathematics lessons aligned with the curriculum and students’ learning needs.
Teach according to the educational abilities and achievements of individual students and groups.
Assign classwork and homework, prepare assessments, and evaluate students’ progress.
Maintain accurate records of students’ development, progress, and behavior.
Identify students’ strengths and weaknesses and provide appropriate guidance and support.
Encourage students’ critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills in mathematics.
Maintain discipline and a safe, supportive, and positive classroom environment.
Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school administration for overall student development.
Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and curriculum development activities.

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Graduate (Masters)

Required Experience:More than 2 years

Other Specification

Master’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or related field.
Prior experience teaching secondary-level mathematics is an advantage.
Knowledge of child-centered teaching and modern pedagogical methods.
Strong classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Enthusiastic, professional, and dedicated to student learning and development.
