Job Description

Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are seeking a qualified and compassionate School Nurse to provide healthcare support to students, manage chronic conditions, respond to medical emergencies, and contribute to health education within the school. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and possess strong communication and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide day-to-day healthcare support for students, including first aid and emergency care.
Manage chronic conditions such as asthma, diabetes, and other ongoing health issues.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date student health records and reports.
Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff regarding health matters.
Deliver health education during HPE classes, including assignment checking, classroom management, and assessment activities.
Respond promptly and efficiently to medical emergencies within the school premises.
Collaborate with teachers and administration to promote a safe and healthy school environment.

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 2 years

Other Specification

Experience & Specialized Training:

Previous experience in pediatrics, emergency rooms, or community health is highly desirable.
Strong assessment skills and ability to manage chronic conditions such as asthma and diabetes.
Knowledge of health education and preventive care.

Skills & Qualities:

Emergency Care: Able to respond quickly and effectively in medical emergencies.
Communication: Clear and professional communication with students, parents, and staff.
Management: Strong organizational skills for maintaining accurate health records.
Educational Support: Ability to teach health portions of HPE classes, including assignment checking, classroom management, question setting, and answer sheet evaluation.
