Job Description

Rosebud School is seeking a highly qualified School Counselor (Child Psychology & Well-being) with at least 2 years of experience in the field of Psychology or a related counselling field. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional counselling skills and a passion for working with students in the Education industry.

Responsibilities:

Offer counselling services to students with social, emotional and behavioural issues
Conduct individual and group counselling sessions to address student's needs
Assess student's mental health and provide appropriate interventions and referrals when necessary
Collaborate with teachers, parents and other school staff to develop effective strategies to support struggling students
Promote mental wellness and mental health awareness within the school community
Lead psycho-educational workshops and training sessions for students and staff
Provide consultation and support to teachers in managing classroom dynamics and addressing behavioural concerns
Monitor and supervise students' progress and create regular reports to track their growth
Demonstrate strong leadership skills by taking initiative in developing and implementing school-wide counselling programs
Utilize effective communication and problem-solving skills when working with students, parents and school staff
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in all counselling sessions.
