Roles and Responsibilities:

• Schedule Sales forecast and contribution category-wise keeping mind monthly and annual target, communicating the same with the team and reviewing progress to ensure store is on or exceeding target.
•  Creating employee schedules, assigning schedules and responsibilities to employees, checking to see if these responsibilities and assignments are carried through in the store
• Recruit and train new employees and providing ongoing education for employees
• Evaluating staff based on performance-based metrics
• Ensure timely and accurate recording of time and attendance of store team.
• Setting criteria for staff, such as sales performance and customer approval or complaints
• Giving staff financial goals and sales targets to meet on a scheduled basis
• Managing inventory, including loss prevention through theft and breakage
• Ensure flawless execution of instore promotions and other marketing campaigns for attracting new customers and retaining current customers.
• Maintaining statistical and financial records
• Dealing with customer queries and complaints
• Overseeing pricing and stock control
• Maximizing profitability by increasing sales, reducing shrinkage, minimizing damage and expired goods, including motivating staff to do so.
• Ensuring discipline in the store and 100% compliance to company policy and procedures. 
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation
• Liaising with head office.
