Roles and Responsibilities:

Schedule Sales forecast and contribution category-wise keeping mind monthly and annual target, communicating the same with the team and reviewing progress to ensure store is on or exceeding target.
Creating employee schedules, assigning schedules and responsibilities to employees, checking to see if these responsibilities and assignments are carried through in the store
Recruit and train new employees and providing ongoing education for employees
Evaluating staff based on performance-based metrics
Ensure timely and accurate recording of time and attendance of store team.
Setting criteria for staff, such as sales performance and customer approval or complaints
Giving staff financial goals and sales targets to meet on a scheduled basis
Managing inventory, including loss prevention through theft and breakage
Ensure flawless execution of instore promotions and other marketing campaigns for attracting new customers and retaining current customers.
Maintaining statistical and financial records
Dealing with customer queries and complaints
Overseeing pricing and stock control
Maximizing profitability by increasing sales, reducing shrinkage, minimizing damage and expired goods, including motivating staff to do so.
Ensuring discipline in the store and 100% compliance to company policy and procedures.
Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation
Liaising with head office.
