Roles and responsibilities of this job

As a Sales Associate at our furniture showroom, you will play a key role in driving sales and providing excellent customer service. You will assist customers in selecting furniture pieces that meet their needs and preferences while achieving sales targets and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

Greet customers as they enter the showroom and provide them with assistance.
Ensure the showroom is well-maintained, organized, and visually appealing.
Actively pursue sales opportunities and meet or exceed monthly sales targets.
Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and escalate issues to the management team when necessary.
Stay updated on furniture trends, product features, and promotions to effectively assist customers.

Requirements:

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively.
Flexible schedule with the ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as required.
High school diploma or equivalent. A degree in sales or a related field is a plus.
Strong sales and negotiation skills with the ability to persuade and close deals.
Ability to quickly learn and understand the features of new products.
Proficiency in using point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic computer skills.
Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and contribute to a positive work environment.
