Roles and responsibilities of this job

Kathmandu English School is looking for a friendly, organized, and professional Receptionist to join our administrative team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling front desk operations, managing communications, assisting visitors, and providing administrative support to ensure the smooth functioning of the school's daily activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Welcome and assist students, parents, visitors, and guests in a courteous and professional manner.
Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls and inquiries.
Maintain visitor records and manage front desk activities.
Provide accurate information regarding school programs, admissions, and general inquiries.
Receive, sort, and distribute correspondence, documents, and deliveries.
Assist with student, parent, and staff communication when required.
Maintain records, files, and administrative documents.
Coordinate appointments, meetings, and administrative schedules.
Support school administration with routine office tasks and documentation.
Ensure the reception area remains organized, presentable, and welcoming at all times.

Required Education Level:Higher Secondary (+2/A Levels/IB)

Required Experience:Not Required

Other Specification

Minimum of +2 or equivalent qualification.
Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is essential.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and general office software.
Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role is preferred.
