Job Description

Roles and responsibilities of this job

Meeting the company S.O.P’s (Personal presentation, Check INS and Check outs, Answering telephones, Guest complaints and mystery guest questionnaire
Assisting disable guests and responsible for room allocation
Promote and up sell Hotel facilities
To greet guests following correct registration procedures
Provide an efficient and accurate booking facility in the absence of the Reception manager
Open up and close down reception when on relevant shift, passing on and receiving all information to and from the night porter
Maintain a clean, tidy and safe reception area
Issue and receive departmental keys.
Print daily reports for housekeeping, and F&B
To be aware of all functions that day and their needs
Maintain knowledge of all services, policies and procedures offered by all departments
Report all accidents via the company accident reporting procedure to a manager
Work with the porters to assist guests to their room/lodge, issuing keys and information

Reports To: Front Office Manager

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Higher Secondary (+2/A Levels/IB)

Required Experience:Less than or equal to 1 year

Other Specification

Previous experience as receptionist in same field is must
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Excellent customer care skills both face to face and telephone
Able to work shifts as required
Excellent presentation skills
