At Tekvortex, we specialize in building complex enterprise products and services. We are seeking highly skilled mid to senior-level React/NextJS developers to join our core R&D team to aid in building functional and efficient server and client side applications. As a part of the team, you will have the opportunity to work on latest technologies along with opportunities to lead major technical initiatives after settling in.

An ideal candidate will be familiar with all aspects of software development life cycle. You should have experience in designing, coding, testing and consistently managing solutions. If you are a seasoned developer with a love for front-end technologies, we’d like to meet you.

Responsibilities

Design and implement low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications
Write effective and scalable code in ReactJS on NEXT framework
Design and implement functional requirements of enterprise applications
Develop features and improvements to the assigned application in a secure, well-tested, and performant way
Work with Product Management and other stakeholders (Backend, UX, etc.) to iterate on new features.
Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and performance
Write code that meets set standards for style, maintainability, and best practices for a high-scale web environment. Maintain and advocate for these standards through code review.
Learn, collaborate and teach other Software Engineers.
Identify areas of improvements in the code base, both specific to your group and outside your group (eg. component library) and help contribute to make it better.

Skills and Other Specifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant field
Minimum of 2 years’ of relevant experience in software industry preferably in enterprise grade applications
Professional experience with React/Next JS, JavaScript
Experience of creating and consuming REST APIs
A solid understanding in core web and browser concepts
A solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and styling concepts
A solid understanding of relational data and/or non-relational models
Experience with web application development
Knowledge of CI/CD and other DevOps processes will be a plus
Experience with performance and optimization problems and a demonstrated ability to both diagnose and prevent these problems
Experience in the development of responsive web applications that scale well across all devices and screen resolutions
Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around such issues
Familiarity with front-end build tools, such as Webpack and Gulp
Proficiency in the English language, both written and verbal, sufficient for success in a remote and largely
synchronous work environment
Strong unit testing and debugging skills
Critical thinker, strong analytical, problem-solving, and time-management skills
Strong attention to detail while implementing technical specifications
Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly and master diverse technologies and techniques
Willingness to work in flexible hours overlapping with US office hours, if needed
Good attitude and strong work ethics
