Job Description

Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are seeking a motivated and proactive Project Manager to oversee the setup, operations, and maintenance of our EV charging stations. This role requires leadership, technical project management, and relationship-building skills to support the consistent, efficient and high-quality operation of our expanding charging network.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management

Oversee the end-to-end setup of new charging stations, including site preparation, installation, testing, and commissioning.
Develop, track, and report on project timelines, milestones, and deliverables, ensuring timely completion and within budget.
Work closely with vendors and technical teams to manage charging infrastructure installation and integration.

Operations Management

Monitor daily operations to ensure efficient and consistent service delivery.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical and operational issues at charging stations promptly.
Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for consistent operational practices across all stations.

Maintenance

Schedule and manage regular maintenance to ensure the safety, reliability, and longevity of charging infrastructure.
Respond to and address emergency maintenance needs, coordinating with technical support teams.

Team Collaboration

Coordinate with internal teams, including technicians and customer support, to ensure seamless operations.
Collaborate on cross-functional initiatives to improve the company’s services and operational processes.

Reporting and Documentation

Document and report on project progress, operational metrics, and any issues encountered.
Prepare and submit regular reports to senior management on station performance, franchisee satisfaction, and operational improvements.

Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to resolve operational challenges quickly and efficiently.
Interpersonal Relations: Ability to maintain positive and productive relationships with franchisees and other stakeholders.
Time Management: Strong organizational skills to handle multiple projects and tasks effectively within deadlines.
Teamwork: Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team and contribute to a positive work environment.
Flexibility: Willingness to travel frequently to franchisee locations across various regions as required.
Pressure Management: Ability to perform efficiently under pressure and adapt to evolving operational demands.

Qualifications

Minimum Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in Project Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a related field such as EV infrastructure, energy management, or operations management, with a strong background in project management and team coordination.
Familiarity with EV charging technology and/or charging station management is advantageous.
