Roles and responsibilities of this job
In the district, there are ECD centers (Early child hood Center) but the community has the less priority of early childhood development. Discriminatory growth and socialization with low priority to the girl child in health and education care. Poor maternal and child nutrition status and low service utilization of existing health services with low coverage of institutional delivery and availability of birthing center as well. The vulnerable communities face circumstances that add stress to their lives and they also reduce their ability for optimal parenting.
So, it is important to develop parents’ and guardians’ understanding about the importance of the early years and the practical skills to provide effective care and stimulation. When they gain the confidence and practical skills to improve the lives of young children, they are in a better position to make the community a better place for all children.
