Other Specification

Required Qualifications:

Passed Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (B.E/ B.Tech in Electrical Engineering) from recognized University/ Institute with Experience of Purchase of Hydropower & Substation equipment.

Required work experience:

At least 2-3 years works experience in related field. Knowledge of FACT-ERP software is mandatory. Candidates having an exposure in Hydropower / Sub-station equipment purchase will be an added advantage.

Required skills and knowledge:

Knowledge of FACT – ERP Software is mandatory.
Candidate must be fluent in English, Nepali & Hindi language and should be familiar with Procurement process.
Candidate with a valid license for two wheeler will be given priority.

Job Description

Position: Procurement Engineer

Major Responsibilities:

Performing enquiry of materials/tools/Services required for procurement proceedings.
Developing new vendors/ Suppliers for effective purchase as per NHE rules.
Placing Purchase Order, follow up for delivery of materials & supplies.
Assist in bidding process by getting offers & require qualifying document
Controlling the activities of suppliers, timely performing purchase of supplies.
Assist the Procurement Manager for smooth & timely Procurement proceedings.
Up gradation of Procurement activities in FACT-ERP software
