Job Description

Position Title: Laboratory Facilitator

Key Responsibilities

Assist the tutors in planning and conducting laboratory experiments and activities.
Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the science laboratory.
Maintain an organized, safe, and efficient lab environment.
Ensure all lab equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.
Develop, implement, and enforce safety procedures and protocols in the lab.
Conduct regular safety audits and ensure compliance with school policies and regulations.
Maintain an accurate inventory of lab supplies and equipment Keep records of equipment usage and maintenance.
Collaborate with the science department to develop and enhance the science curriculum.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific field.
Master’s degree is preferred.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in managing a laboratory, preferably in an educational setting.
Experience in teaching or providing instructional support in a lab environment is highly desirable.
