Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated PE Teacher to join our team and promote physical fitness and wellness among our students. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in physical education and a commitment to fostering a love for physical activity and healthy living.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement a comprehensive PE curriculum that promotes physical fitness, motor skills development, and sportsmanship.
Plan and lead engaging PE lessons that cater to the needs and interests of students across different age groups.
Organize and supervise sports activities, intramural events, and inter-school competitions.
Assess student progress and provide feedback to support their physical development and skill acquisition.
Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and encouraged to participate.
Collaborate with colleagues to integrate physical education with other areas of the curriculum and promote a holistic approach to education.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Physical Education or a related field
Prior experience teaching PE at the elementary and/or secondary level.
Strong knowledge of physical fitness principles, sports techniques, and health education.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Enthusiasm for promoting physical activity and wellness among students.
