Job Description

Roles and responsibilities of this job

The OET Instructor will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality training sessions to healthcare professionals (nurses) preparing for the Occupational English Test.

The role involves teaching all four sub-tests; Reading, Writing, Listening, and Speaking, while providing personalized guidance to help students achieve their target scores.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Teaching & Training

Conduct engaging classes (online/offline) for OET Reading, Writing, Listening, and Speaking sub-tests.
Provide individual feedback on writing and speaking tasks as per OET scoring criteria.
Conduct mock tests and practice sessions to evaluate students’ readiness.

2. Assessment & Progress Tracking

Regularly assess students’ language skills and provide constructive feedback.
Maintain attendance records of students.
Suggest personalized strategies to help students improve in weak areas.

3. Content Development & Updates

Stay updated on OET test changes, scoring patterns, and teaching techniques.

4. Student Guidance & Support

Motivate students to achieve their desired band scores.
Provide tips and strategies for time management and exam confidence.
Support students in understanding the professional communication skills required for healthcare contexts.

Work Details:

Schedule: Full-time (8 am -5 pm)

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 2 years

Other Specification

Bachelor’s degree in BSc. Nursing or above
Experience in teaching OET with OET passed with each band B
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to adapt teaching methods to different learning styles.
Strong knowledge of healthcare-related communication is a plus.
