Job Description

Roles and responsibilities of this job

Provide direct nursing care to patients, including assessment, medication administration, wound care, and monitoring of vital signs.
Collaborate with physicians and medical staff in developing and implementing individualized patient care plans.
Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatment options, medications, and self-care practices.
Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
Ensure patient safety, comfort, and dignity throughout their hospital stay.
Adhere to infection control measures, safety protocols, and ethical standards in all aspects of patient care.
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress, care plans, and discharge planning.
Stay updated on evidence-based practices, new treatments, and advancements in nursing care.
Mentor and supervise junior nursing staff, nursing students, and healthcare assistants.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to promote continuity of care and optimal patient outcomes.

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than or equal to 2 years

Bachelor's degree in Nursing from a recognized institution.
Minimum 2 years of experience as a registered nurse, preferably in a hospital or clinical setting.
Strong clinical skills, including medication administration, patient assessment, and wound care.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and handle challenging situations with empathy and professionalism.
Commitment to providing patient-centered care, upholding ethical standards, and continuous learning.
Current registration or eligibility for registration with the relevant nursing council.
