Job Description

Roles and responsibilities of this job

ICU (Intensive Care Unit) nurses are responsible for providing critical care to patients in life-threatening conditions. Some of the key job responsibilities of an ICU nurse include:

Monitoring patients' vital signs and administering medications
Assisting with diagnostic tests and interpreting results
Implementing and monitoring patients' treatment plans
Communicating with doctors and other healthcare professionals
Assisting with procedures such as intubation, chest tube placement, and wound care
Maintaining accurate medical records and documenting patient progress
Educating patients and their families about their conditions and treatments
Maintaining a safe and clean patient environment
Responding to emergency situations and providing resuscitation as needed.

Note

ICU nurses must have a high level of critical thinking, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills
The candidates shall have experience in ICU or shall have training certificates
