Mayorsap.com is seeking a skilled News Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for detail, creativity, and the ability to transform raw footage into engaging, high-quality news videos. You will work closely with reporters and content creators to produce compelling visual stories that inform and engage our audience.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as a News Video Editor located in Kathmandu. The News Video Editor will be responsible for video production, video editing, color grading, motion graphics, and graphics.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a video editor, preferably in news or journalism.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Strong storytelling skills and understanding of news production.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of motion graphics and video effects is a plus.
• Understanding of copyright laws and fair use policies in news media.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Media Studies, Film Production, or a related field.
• Experience in live video editing or streaming platforms.
• Familiarity with social media content trends.
