Job Description

Yuganta School is seeking a passionate and skilled Music Teacher to join our team. The Music Teacher will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive music curriculum, teaching students of various age groups, and organizing musical performances and events.

Responsibilities:

Develop and deliver engaging music lessons to students across different grade levels.
Teach music theory, history, appreciation, and practical skills such as singing, playing instruments, and music composition.
Plan and coordinate musical activities, rehearsals, and performances, including school concerts, recitals, and competitions.
Provide individual and group instruction to students, offering guidance and feedback to help them improve their musical abilities.
Select and maintain musical instruments, equipment, and resources for classroom use.
Collaborate with other teachers and staff to integrate music into interdisciplinary projects and school events.
Assess student progress through performance evaluations, assessments, and examinations.
Communicate regularly with parents/guardians to share student progress, upcoming events, and opportunities for musical enrichment.
Stay updated on music education trends, techniques, and resources, and incorporate innovative teaching methods into lessons.
