Roles and responsibilities of this job
We are looking for a committed Montessori Grade Teacher to manage a pre-school class and deliver engaging, activity-based learning. The role involves supporting children’s overall development, maintaining a positive and safe classroom environment, and working closely with senior teachers and parents to ensure effective learning outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Take full responsibility for teaching and managing an assigned class.
Plan and deliver daily lessons aligned with the school curriculum and senior teacher guidance.
Implement play-based and activity-based learning methods.
Maintain discipline and create a positive classroom environment.
Monitor, assess, and track each child’s development and progress.
Maintain student records, reports, and daily updates.
Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress.
Follow guidance and academic frameworks provided by senior teachers.
Collaborate with senior teachers for planning and improvements.
Ensure child safety, hygiene, and overall well-being.
Participate in school events, training, and programs.
Continuously improve teaching practices.
Job Specification
Required qualifications for this job
Other Specification
Minimum 1 year of preschool teaching experience (freshers may be considered if well-trained).
Bachelor’s degree (running or completed) in a relevant field preferred.
ECD/ECC or Montessori training (compulsory).
Fluency in Nepali (spoken & written) and good spoken English.
Minimum 1-year contract commitment.
