Mid Senior Q/A Engineer

• Quality Assurance background, including functional, integration, and regression testing, smoke testing including ability to write manual test cases, test plan and test scripts
• A background in the Insurance industry
• Ensure products meet customer expectations and demand
• Work closely with the development team to improve existing products
• Work closely with development teams in an agile environment
• Plan and perform end-to-end testing effort of high complexity features
• Be excited about automation and building tools to help do your job and assist the rest of the team
• Maintained and updated test documentation between releases
  
• Performed cross browser testing to verify functionality of web applications
• Actively participated in QA team meetings to discuss testing process
• Develops increased proficiency on coverage in order to improve quality estimation and overall quality goals for products
• Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts
  
• Test data preparation, test case review and modification
• Contribute to internal and cross-team discussions and decisions
• Estimate, prioritize, plan, create and execute testing activities
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Execute test cases and analyze/report bugs
• Proactive and timely communication with BA and Development Team
• Integrate with the product owner and development team on bug fixes and required modifications
