ROLE PURPOSE:

Under the direct supervision of the Director, NTC and Project Manager – Global Fund, NTC, the Microbiologist will be responsible for observing, identifying and monitoring Mycobacterial species, quality control on sputum microscopy by Ziehl Nielsen/ Fluorescence technique, quality control on culture and DST for Mycobacteria. He/she will be responsible for adopting new technique, products and processes for TB related laboratory works.
