Job Description

The Mechanical Overseer will be responsible for overseeing all mechanical activities in the hydropower project, ensuring efficient and effective operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering and at least 1 year of experience in a hydropower project.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of mechanical equipment and systems to ensure their performance and safety.
  • Identify and troubleshoot any mechanical issues and provide timely solutions.
  • Supervise and coordinate with the mechanical team to carry out installation, repair, and maintenance work.
  • Prepare daily reports and document all mechanical activities.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and policies.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for all mechanical equipment and systems.
  • Recommend improvements and modifications to existing mechanical systems for better performance.
  • Keep track of inventory and order necessary materials and equipment.
  • Train and mentor new members of the mechanical team.
