Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and innovative Mechanical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and improving mechanical systems and components to meet project specifications and organizational goals. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design and Development:

Design and develop mechanical systems, products, and components using CAD software.
Analyze project requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Perform simulations and modeling to ensure optimal design performance.
Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and scheduled servicing of forklifts.
Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues in forklifts and related equipment.

2. Project Management:

Plan, execute, and oversee mechanical engineering projects from concept to completion.
Collaborate with other engineers, designers, and production teams to achieve project goals.
Prepare and review technical documentation, including reports, drawings, and manuals.

3. Testing and Analysis:

Conduct performance tests on mechanical systems to identify areas for improvement.
Analyze test results and make recommendations to optimize performance and reliability.
Ensure all forklifts and material-handling equipment meet safety standards and regulations.

4. Troubleshooting and Maintenance:

Diagnose and resolve issues in mechanical systems and machinery.
Provide technical support during installation, operation, and maintenance.
Suggest and implement cost-effective solutions to improve efficiency and reduce downtime.

5. Continuous Improvement:

Research and implement new materials, technologies, and methods to enhance product performance.
Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in mechanical engineering. o Participate in continuous learning and professional development activities.

Qualifications and Skills:

Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
Experience: 2-5 years of experience in mechanical design, analysis, and project execution.

Technical Skills:

Proficient in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA).
Knowledge of finite element analysis (FEA) and computational fluid dynamics (CFD).
Familiarity with manufacturing processes, materials, and industry standards.

Soft Skills:

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively.

Certifications: Professional Engineer (PE) license or relevant certifications are a plus.

Working Conditions:

Office and field-based work environment; occasional travel may be required.
Exposure to manufacturing or industrial settings during inspections or installations.
