Roles and responsibilities of this job
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Matron (Associate Professor level) with an MSc in Nursing to lead and strengthen our nursing services and academic activities.
Roles & Responsibilities
Provide overall leadership and supervision of nursing services in the hospital
Plan, organize, and coordinate nursing activities to ensure high standards of patient care
Supervise, mentor, and evaluate nursing staff and nursing students
Ensure compliance with hospital policies, academic standards, and regulatory requirements
Coordinate with medical, academic, and administrative departments
Participate in curriculum implementation, clinical teaching, and academic activities
Maintain quality assurance, infection control, and patient safety standards
Support staff development, training, and performance appraisal
Qualification & Experience
MSc Nursing from a recognized institution
Must meet Associate Professor level criteria as per NMC/academic standards
Valid registration with Nepal Nursing Council
Nursing administration and leadership
Teaching and clinical supervision
Hospital nursing services management
Prior experience in a teaching hospital will be highly preferred
Salary & Benefits
Salary: NPR 80,000 – 100,000 per month (negotiable based on qualification and experience)
Accommodation: Provided by the institution
