Job Description

Roles and responsibilities of this job

Work as a member of the Management Team and assist the hospital administration in all work related to nursing administration.
Assess the requirement of each service outlet. Assign nurses based on their education, skills, and experience as appropriate.
Make recommendations for upgrading or changing the clinical services and facilities as appropriate.
Maintain reports of nursing personnel and make recommendations for their career advancement.
Maintain complete, accurate service records.
Maintains discipline among nursing personnel.
Ensure quality nursing care for all patients in the hospital:
Plan for the necessary supplies and requests their purchase through standard hospital procedures
Acts as a liaison between the Management and the Nursing staff of the hospital.
Attends to emergency calls in concerning hospital problems.
Plan and prepare in-service education training program for skill enhancement of the nursing staff as needed.

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than or equal to 10 years

Other Specification

Qualifications: Masters in Nursing (MN) or Bachelor in Nursing plus Masters in Hospital Management/health related subjects or Masters in Management from a recognised university.

Experience: 10 years of working experience in a 100 bed or more hospital in a senior position.
