Job Description

Roles and responsibilities of this job

Conducting classroom sessions for Lower secondary level students on Mathematics, utilizing various teaching techniques and methodologies.
Preparing lesson plans, assignments and assessments to meet the academic needs of students.
Evaluating students' progress and providing feedback on their academic performance.
Creating a conducive learning environment for students, promoting a positive and inclusive classroom culture.
Utilizing technology and innovative methods to make the subject interesting and engaging for students.
Collaborating with other teachers and school staff to develop academic programs and enhance the overall learning experience.
Monitoring and maintaining academic records of students, including attendance, grades, and other relevant data.
Conducting parent-teacher meetings to discuss students' progress and address any concerns or issues.
Participating in school events and extracurricular activities to foster holistic development among students.

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:Equal to 3 years

Other Specification

Bachelor's degree in Education (BEd) - Maths, BSc Physics or any other relevant subject.
Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in a school.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Ability to adapt to different teaching styles to meet the needs of diverse learners.
Passionate about teaching and dedicated to the academic success of students.
Familiarity with the latest teaching methodologies and technology-enhanced learning.
Valid teaching certification/license from a recognized authority.
